Carol Sue Janes

Carol Sue has an active appellate and trial practice. Her appellate practice involves state and federal court appeals. Her trial practice includes medical malpractice lawsuits as well as administrative proceedings. She regularly represents doctors, dentists, and other health care providers and facilities in licensing and disciplinary litigation, and in connection with Medicaid audits. Carol Sue also counsels health care clients regarding regulatory and medical records confidentiality issues. Before joining Bennett, Bigelow & Leedom, Carol Sue served as a law clerk to a Washington State Supreme Court justice and was a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She also taught basic legal skills at the University of Washington School of Law.
